ACLS COURSE
This course is designed primarily for healthcare professionals in emergency departments, intensive care units, critical care departments, surgical areas, pre-hospital environments, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and acute ischemic stroke.
PLEASE NOTE: All Students attending are required to possess a basic understanding of ACLS algorithms, ECG interpretation, and relevant pharmacology before attending the course. (These will not be taught, but referenced heavily during class.)
The American Heart Association requires all attending students to have a 2020 Edition ACLS textbook or ebook for this course. Life Saving Certified is currently becoming a paper free business and offers an Ebook option when registering. ALL OTHER ADD-ONS ARE STRICTLY OPTIONAL.
This course is approximately 5 hours.
You will receive your E-card via email from the American Heart Association. This will take place before the next business day, with most cards received same-day. If you require your ecard sent immediately after class please note in the comments section when you register that you are in need of immediate possession of certification.
